International Labour Conference, Eighteenth Session

This session of the ILC included several women participants from Central and Eastern Europe. Marie Krausová (workers' adviser from Czechoslovakia), Eugenia Waśniewska (workers' adviser from Poland), and Milena Atanatskovitch (government adviser from Yugoslavia) were members of the Night Work and Underground Work Conference Committees.

During this conference, the sole discussion of night work for women took place, as well as the first discussion of women's underground work in mines.
